Ingredients
  1. 1 Tbsp cinnamon powder
  2. 1 tsp cocoa powder
  3. 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  4. 2 tsp rice powder
  5. 1 Tbsp cinnamon powder
  6. 1 tsp cocoa powder
  7. 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  8. 2 tsp cornstarch
  9. 15 drops rosemary essential oil
Instructions
  1. When making this blend use this guide; Cinnamon adds warmth, cocoa adds darkness, and nutmeg adds a sun-kissed glow, and so you will need to test this combination out against the back of your wrist as you go to clarify the best color for you. I have a fair complexion, and this works well for me, but may need to be adjusted for others.
  2. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk.
  3. Add your Cornstarch to the mix, and whisk again.
  4. Add your essential oil; Essential oil acts as a binder in this blend.
  5. Break up any clumps with a fork, and then whisk until smooth.
  6. Use an empty tin or compact to store your makeup, using the back of a spoon to smooth all ingredients together.
  7. Apply as you would any contour powder.
  8. Enjoy!
Notes
  1. Please note, this blend will remain shelf stable for several years. I recommend changing out cosmetics annually. Enjoy!

Homemade Easy Bake Oven Chocolate Cake Mix & Frosting Kits

Tutorial Tuesday

Good evening, savvy savers! For this week’s Tutorial Tuesday, I wanted to bring you a recipe that was very near and dear to my heart as a child, and even now as an adult, my Homemade Easy Bake Oven Chocolate Cake Mix and Icing recipe! As a child of the early 1990′s, I was always torn between playing with my skip-it, togs, watching Full House reruns, or baking with my Easy Bake Oven, but the baking usually won out! What’s cool about this recipe is that you can make kits, storing the mix and icing in smaller snack-sized baggies, labeled, then placed into larger sandwich bags, frozen, and labeled for use later with the Easy Bake Oven!

You will save 98% off retail price with this idea; my kits are priced under $0.20 a kit!
