Hello again, savvy savers! I wanted to remind everyone again of the current giveaways on the blog:
Cinco de Mayo Wreath & $40.00 Reader Craft Store Gift Card Giveaway!
Product Review: Life & Food Green Coffee Bean Extract & Reader Contest!
Daily Living Planner Review & Reader Giveaway!
World Book Night 2014 Reader Giveaway & 2015 Aspiring Writers Essay Information!
Also, I would like to know if you all prefer the Rafflecopter form for giveaways? I previously used rafflecopter on my former blog, but had found that the program did not allot for people using multiple email addresses for various different social media outlets, and I found that though there were a good number of entries, several were by one or two people, which in my opinion, negates the fairness of the giveaway! Just the other day, I was thoroughly hung-up to dry by a random blogger, scolding me for not using rafflecopter; she stated that clicking buttons on my webpage were inconvenient, and too time consuming. I wanted to let my readers give their take on future giveaways. Please leave me a comment! One commenter, who is subscribed to my blog, (or wants to subscribe, this step will be verified), will receive a $25.00 Target Gift Card for doing so!
Good luck, everyone!
-Update: Congratulations to Carol O (Carol, please email me so that I may be able to send you your gift card this weekend), for winning this giveaway, and thank you all for your opinions, suggestions, and comments! I’d also like to thank those who left Facebook, Twitter, and email messages with suggestions, as well!

I really liked when entering contests meant completing a few lines on a simple form for one entry. I am not into social media so all of the entries you can earn by posting things on facebook or tweeting frustrate me. I don’t mind simply “liking” a page as the contest entry, but anything more than that when it comes to social media is not my cup of tea.
That said, I do understand that social media is essential to bloggers and the best way to get the word out to drive traffic to their blog, so I would not blame you for going that route. And as others have said, unfortunately, no matter what you do, there will always be those people who go to great lengths to scam the system and enter numerous times.
I can see your point! Thank you for entering!
I do think the Rafflecopter is easiest for me, especially when a contest allows you to have more than one way to enter.
I think the Rafflecopter is the easiest way to enter.
I like Rafflecopter (and Giveaway Tools too). But I have a twitter and I don’t mind liking a bunch of pages on facebook in order to get entries. I’ve been entering giveaways for several months now and have been able to discover a lot of great blogs this way.
I think that with Rafflecopter/Giveaway Tools you can easily customize it so that readers can earn entries for all sorts of things, leaving comments, visiting websites, finding “daily words”, etc. You don’t have to make it so that you can only earn points through social media.
Honestly I like the ease of Rafflecopter. People will find all sorts of ways to cheat, whether it’s thru Rafflecopter or another way. Just my take on it.
I wish all giveaways only had 1 entries. Everyone would be equal.
I don’t always like Rafflecopter. I don’t like how you can ‘earn’ extra entries via social media. I’m suspicious of the information Facebook is collecting about me that way. I don’t do Twitter. I do like Pinterest. But I don’t want to follow a dozen blogs or pin boards just to earn more entries. My goal is to keep things uncluttered not add more stuff to my life. Just my two cents!
Anne:)
I think Rafflecopter are simple and an easy way to enter giveaways. Like you on Facebook.
I do like the ease of use with Rafflecopter but to me it does seem unfair that one person could have many entries while another only has one. I really don’t mind clicking on links or buttons or leaving comments for contests, etc. because it doesn’t take that much longer to do than the Rafflecopter. This may not be helpful but just my two cents 🙂
Thank you for your opinion, and good luck!
