When you go camping, there are some items that you definitely need to bring. Even if the weather forecast is good and it seems like everything will go smoothly – you should always be prepared for anything!

These Items Include:
Tent
Having a tent will protect you from bugs, rain, and wind while providing a shaded area where you can spend your time when not exploring around camp. Depending on the number of people going with you it may be necessary to have two tents if everyone cannot fit into one large one. This way, both males and females will have their own space while they sleep if you are traveling by yourself though this is obviously not an issue so just bring one single tent.
Warm Clothing
When camping during the colder seasons, it is important to dress in layers so that you can easily take off items if you start getting too hot while exploring outside of your tent. Be sure to bring an extra pair of socks, pants, and a hoodie or jacket when winter camping, as many tend to get cold overnight when the sun goes down. If it is really cold, try bringing a waterproof windbreaker with a large hood that will allow for protection from both rain and snow. You can never be too prepared when spending time outdoors!
First Aid Kit
There are plenty of dangerous insects and animals that live in forests, deserts, and other outdoor settings where camping takes place. For example, a loose snake or spider could cause serious injury while you are sleeping, so be sure to download the dermatology app and pack a first-aid supply that can handle most common injuries such as cuts, stings, and burns.
Food Supplies
If your camping trip will require cooking – bring supplies! You don’t want to get hungry only to find out you have nothing on hand to make meals with. Be able to prepare some basic foods like sandwiches, chili beans, etc. Cooking over an open fire is also very enjoyable so perhaps try this new recipe for chicken cooked in tin foil over the flame.
Water Bottle / Filter
It can get pretty hot while hiking around outside during summertime so ensure you always have plenty of water on hand at all times. Make sure to also have a water filter with you in case the local rivers and streams are contaminated, or you just do not want to carry heavy jugs of water along. Water bottles hold a good amount of liquid while being easy enough for kids and smaller adults to carry around on their belts or backpacks.
Swiss Army Knife / Multi-Tool
There are many jobs that need doing around camp, so it is important to have a tool that can help with most tasks. If you want to focus on just one item, then maybe try bringing a swiss army knife that has both a regular knife blade as well as scissors, screwdrivers, and more for those who do not mind carrying around extra weight though they may give serious consideration towards a multi-tool which has a huge amount of variations.
Bug Repellent
Ticks, mosquitoes, and other bugs are very common when camping, so it is important to protect yourselves. Pack plenty of bug spray or even bring along coils/vaporizers if you want to ward off the bugs without using chemicals. Tick checks should be done after returning from long hikes in any case.
