Good morning, savvy savers! If you live in a multi-adult, multi-child, multi-pet home, then this weeks Housewife Hacks, is for you! Today I want to share with you my formula for DIY Windex! My blend costs $0.20 a bottle, cleans without streaking, and is one-tenth the cost of the traditional name-sake product; this is also one-fifth the price of generic window cleaner at the Dollar Tree! With all of the little hand and paw prints on windows, appliances, mirrors, and table tops, this cleaner will be a handy addition to your home!
- To make Windex mix the following ingredients in a plastic spray bottle:
- 6 ounces rubbing alcohol
- 1 tablespoon. ammonia
- 1 teaspoon liquid dish detergent
- 3 drops blue food coloring
- 2 cups cold water.
- Gently tilt the bottle back and forth several times to mix all ingredients together, and your blend is ready for use!
Here’s to saving,
