Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #197

It’s time for Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #197! We’ve got some amazing picks for this week’s party – turkey day is almost here!  Not quite ready?  Fear not and check out my featured posts for this week’s party!

For my Thanksgiving Cocktail, I have chosen this fun twist on a Moscow mule, a Spiced Apple Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe from Home Cooking Recipes.  My husband is a big fan of this fun beverage right now!

Look at this beautiful and simple Leaf Napkin Fold for the Thanksgiving Table from Jenn at Clean & Scentsible.  This could be a fun activity to get any kids in the house involved in the festivities!
If you know me, you know about my Amish obsession.  So of COURSE I had to pick these Amish Cinnamon Rolls from Little House Living as my pick for a Thanksgiving Treat.

For my Thanksgiving Side, Simply Stacie published this amazing looking recipe for Stuffed Bacon Rolls.  She even takes amazing pictures!!!!

Here’s my extra-just-because pick – Pina Colada Fluff – please pass me the spoon.  Thanks for this great recipe from Crafting A Family.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we are here to help you prepare to make your holiday memorable for both you and your family!

Check out this week’s featured posts!

My favorite fall beverage BY FAR is apple cider, so when I saw Cooking with Carlee’s recipe for Caramel Apple Punch I had to feature it!

My MOST FAVORITE soda drink is cherry coke, but how about a
Cherry Coke Poke Cake from Hillary of Embellishments.  My mouth is watering!

I love the idea of having an interactive aspect at my Thanksgiving table – check out this great idea for this Easy Thanksgiving Centerpiece Idea – Interactive “Thankful” Pumpkin from Burlap & Blue.

For my fourth feature, my Thanksgiving side I chose comes from Strength + Sunshine – Rustic Rosemary Thyme Mashed Potatoes.  I adore the smell of rosemary, so this could be the perfect starch at my Thanksgiving meal!

Check out this post from Sparkle Living Blog on a Classy Black Christmas Tree, what a fun and chic idea to do something different!

Welcome to link party #195 for Happiness Is Homemade!

My name is Katie from Love My Messy Messy Mess and for the month of November, I’ll be picking some of my favorite blog posts to feature at each week’s party.

My plan is to choose four features – a Thanksgiving Treat, a Thanksgiving Side, a Thanksgiving Decoration, a Thanksgiving Beverage and Something Non-Thanksgiving! 🙂

Check out my featured posts for this week’s party!

My first feature of the week – A Thanksgiving Treat – is this luscious looking Pumpkin Strudel with Pumpkin Ale and Seeds from Craftbeering.  Cause ANYTHING with beer is amazing!
.

My second feature – A Thanksgiving Side – is this Chorizo and Sage Stuffing from Kit at The Kitchen. Secret confession – stuffing is my FAVORITE part of the Thanksgiving meal!

The third feature – A Thanksgiving Decoration – are these beautiful Tray Decorating Ideas for Thanksgiving from The Country Chic Cottage.  I love adding a special touch to make my table unique, and I think this is a beautiful way to do just that!

My fourth feature – A Thanksgiving Beverage – is not used for Thanksgiving in her post BUT I think this deep red cocktail would look DAZZLING for Thanksgiving 🙂  Check out the Dragon Berry Dragon’s Blood Cocktail from Living La Vida Holoka!

My final feature this week – Something Non-Thanksgiving – is something that I’ve already done for my family for Christmas – MATCHING PAJAMAS!  Sandy from Sandy A La Mode published this post on Matching Family Pajamas including some other ideas on where to find the perfect set for your family! I mean SERIOUSLY – what a good sport her husband was!!!!
