Good afternoon, savvy savers! Today I wanted to write a quick review for a book I recently read, Speedbumps & Roundabouts, By Pip McCracken! This book speaks to the heart of most 20 and 30-somethings, struggling to adjust to both adult life, and that of being a mother, in a world far less idealised then imaged. The author takes the reader on a journey of both empathy and personal apathy, of hope and scorn, or laughter and a few tears, and in the end gives every reader a sense of personal accomplishment, just for being themselves. For every person who was less inclined to settle down and live the normal path, and instead wanted to see where life would take them, then this book is a must-have this summer, and though a quick-read, I throughly enjoyed it!
