Hello again, savvy savers! Today finds us with another awesome book review, and this time the book, Bread Revolution, by Peter Reinhart.
To say I could devour this book is an understatement. In these days of confusion over what foods are truly healthy, truly organic, truly wholesome, this book sets the path ahead, for this revolutionary book on the art of bread making. lets even the most novice of bakers learn how to prepare, bake, store, and entertain, with breads and grains, like a pro. Reinhart combines common sense, artistry and nutritional facts to create a truly delight cookbook devoted to bread. Sections in this cookbook include: sourdough primer, sprouted flour breads, whole grain breads, whole milling, seed breads, fruit and vegetable breads and gluten free breads. Included in the bread sections are cracker, cookie and an easy-to-follow, hard to not impress biscotti recipe. Each recipe has extremely detailed instructions with step-by-step photographs to enhance the understanding of the process for each type of bread. Each recipe also has variations at the end so you can put your individual stamp on the bread you make for yourself and others.
In addition to being a new kitchen staple, I will be purchasing additional copies for holiday gifts this year!
